Held high above A & W at the Ridge Billboard, the gang
raised $3,500 from advertisers, listeners and staff to benefit
the 2004 Relay for Life
Big O stayed on the board from 6a to 6p with only one break!
He was to raise $1,007 to get down. He did but Peggy and Dina
raised another $1,007 to keep him up there on a challenge from
Dennis Cooper! (don't challenge salespeople!)
Brad started on the ground and said he would not go up unless
we raised $1,490. We did and he started to climb up...but the
wobbly ladder (and his fear of heights!) made him waver. Not
to be outdone...he said he would go up if there was a bucket
truck. Cupples Sign Company to the rescue! Brad did not stay
long but he raised more while on the ground so it was all good.
